Chef Anastasia Clarke knew immediately during her senior year of high school that she wanted to study culinary arts and become an entrepreneur. Coming from a Caribbean upbringing, she often incorporates island flavors into her dishes. From a young age, she was always fascinated with the kitchen. She watched, helped, and learned from her parents and uncle whenever they were preparing meals.
Anastasia attended Kingsborough Community College (Brooklyn, N.Y.) for 2 years, where she obtained her A.S. in Culinary Arts. Upon graduating, she then continued her education at Johnson & Wales University (Providence, R.I.) for 2 years, where she received her B.S. in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management with a concentration in baking and pastry arts.
Chef Anastasia has been in the food and beverage industry for over eight years working various positions in a restaurant, from being behind the scenes in the kitchen to interacting with guests as a restaurant manager.
